Virginia Cannon

Creator of "Passport To Nashville"

Virginia Cannon has a long history in the music business, which is evident in her lasting relationships with industry professionals and artists alike. First and foremost, Cannon is a trusted advocate for songwriters and performers. She has a rare and diverse experience in the industry working in; artist management, performance coaching, media coordination, consulting, and mentoring, among other things.

From 2007 to 2012, Virginia was the Director of Artist Relations for Voyage Air Guitars landing several TV product placements, and rubbing elbows with some of the best musicians in the industry such as; John Oates and Marc Anthony. Her proudest moment with Voyage Air was orchestrating the purchase of 100 guitars by Richie Sambora to give away to active military at Camp Pendleton.

For 8 years, Virginia hosted a popular Nashville showcase for performing songwriters called; "Virginia Cannon Presents!"  where she carefully hand-picked each performer for her weekly shows... "I have a huge passion for songwriters, and the music they create." she says. Virginia's work with songwriters has led to FIVE "Hollywood Music in Media" nominations, with one of her students landing a record deal, and countless songwriters crediting her for being the catalyst to many of their career connections.

In May of 2016, Virginia relocated to Oro Valley, AZ. She continues to work closely with talent in Nashville, and is currently rendering her many valuable services to the Arizona music scene. Virginia remains the host of, "Virginia Cannon Presents!"  Now held at Monterey Court  in Tucson, AZ  on the third Thursday of each month at 6:00p.m.
